Dr. Mohamed Khaled Diab is a multidisciplinary researcher specializing in applied microbiology, pest physiology, metabolomics, and natural biocontrol agents, with over 10 years of academic and research experience. He is now a researcher in the Department of Pest Physiology at the Plant Protection Research Institute (PPRI), Agricultural Research Centre (ARC), Egypt. His work is mainly concerned with sustainable crop protection, bioorganic compound development, and integrated pest management.

As a researcher, Dr. Diab has acquired much experience in the use of biocontrol agents from microorganisms, especially actinomycete metabolites, and has competence in pest physiology, molecular docking, QSAR, bioorganic chemicals, and natural product chemistry. His research interests span smart agriculture, sustainable crop protection, plant-pathogen interactions, toxicology, photobiology, electromagnetic radiation, nanotechnology applications, protein-drug interactions, systems biology, and secondary metabolites.

Dr. Diab has developed a recognized international research profile with 21 published documents and an H-index of 7. He has also reviewed over 75 worldwide research articles in very respected Q1 journals. Suez Canal University awarded him the best international applied publication award 2024 for the impact and practical value of his scientific contributions.

Beyond his research achievements, Dr. Diab has advanced professional training in technology transfer, innovation, entrepreneurship, metabolomics, crop pest diagnosis, and tropical crop pest and disease control through programmes delivered by institutions including USAID/AUTM, the Royal Academy of Engineering in the UK, the University of Birmingham, CABI Academy, and the Chinese Academy of Tropical Agricultural Sciences. His training has enhanced his competence in IP commercialization, innovation marketing, business model creation, pest diagnosis, integrated pest management, and global plant health initiatives.

As Director of IPTC Author Services, Dr. Diab leads scholars through the academic publishing process, from article preparation and journal selection to publication ethics and successful scholarly communication. Using his vast research and peer-review experience, he is keen to help authors to improve their publication abilities, to increase the quality and international visibility of their work, and to create a supportive environment that allows scholars to have a real impact on research throughout the world.
